You Can’t Please Everybody

Has there been a time in your life when you felt stretched thin, as if you were running around and trying to keep everyone happy? If you answered yes to this question, you know that keeping everyone happy simply is not possible. As your responsibilities, businesses, acquaintances, family, friends, colleagues and other constituencies grow in number and complexity, you quickly realize that it is impossible to keep everyone happy. Rather, you must prioritize; figure out what and which people in your life are most important to you and do your absolute best with those people and those undertakings; the rest will just have to wait, most likely indefinitely.   2. Thanks, John. You undoubtedly know better than most that as the final decision maker, it is typically completely impossible to please everyone. The ability to prioritize is critical, as is the ability to maintain a sense of perspective. These capabilities often are not innate and must be learned. Paul
